A new Change

Heyya its been ages since i last blogged.. coz i wasnt really in a blogging mood. BUT now i got news....

it happened soo quickly it has only just sank in.. I got a Promotion.. i am going to si(x)pec. wait it is not i am going, it is i am at sergeant school.. okay soo how did this promotion all start? well a few few wks back after an inspection at 42, OC drove the runners back to camp first coz he wantted us to work on the maps back at camp. In the car, he asked me what i wantted to do after the guys ORD and i just said truthfully, "I would like to go to SISPEC" of course i added a bit of umm i umm would umm like to ummm go hahahaha it wasnt a straight out sentence like that hahahaha it was like i was thinking of sispec...

then after atec was all over, not thinking much about sispec at all, PC took me aside when we were booking out and talked to me about SISPEC.... he heard from the OC and i confirmed it to him that i wantted to go. He was like why didnt you ever tell me? and i replied coz i was shy hahahaha. then he said he would write a testemonal for me, send it to S1 branch and yea.. see how it goes... i booked out all happy coz my chances of going were looking up and i was excited at the opporunity of going. ohh and thanks Sardine and your dad for sending me home at day!! =) hahahaha

went back to camp the new wk and 2IC approached me about wantting to go to SISPEC. He asked if i was sure i wantted all the field camps again, the tough outfields and i nod and said yes yes yes... soo he said he will help push me there through recommandations and wow he has been pushing and pushing that after like 2 wks, application was accepted and bang i am. In a company training to be a leader... but i never thought it would be this soon.. i thought it would be in like dec.. but wow.. i didnt know i was going until this thursday.. and wow.. having to say good bye to my platoon and friends were liking having to say goodbye to my syd friends at the airport again.. Why is it that we never appreciate what we have until we loose it? why it is that we complain so much but in the end we are going to miss it? i wantted to be posted out coz partly very very partly i was sick of the camp, not sick of the ppl but sick of the overall camp, like the building itself... but how posted out, its worst coz the camp is sooo soo far from my house, i shouldnt have complained about the old one.....

guys in platoon ten and other plt too.... thank you sooooo much for looking after me... man i miss playing with you guys... i miss you like i miss my bmt section and platoon... sigh.. but you guys are going to ord soon, going on to seperate, new and different things. we would have to part anyways... thank you Sardine for being my going home buddy. thanks for including me into things, asking me out for suppers and the great fun we had a raymond's house. i started getting to know you i remember when i first when to Raymond's house and we went home together, we talked and then after that just kept talking and talking to become great friends... there is more ppl i have to thank but than the blog will be very long...

having to fit in and make new friends in a new environment is going to be hard... i am finding it difficult already but i guess this takes time.. like the first time i entered the tankiees bunk, i thought how i am going to be friends like these ppl but look what happened, i miss them now!! they were not what i expected, they are such great ppl really... i am also feeling the pressure to be a thinking leader..having to stand up but i am soo shy soo arrrhhh . but i wantted to go as Xiang Hui and Sardine put it nicely "i want more out of my army life"

soo two days passed and whats it like? so far like bmt, lights out timing, no afternoon naps, and arrrrr the thought of being platoon ic! scary!!

anyways... last wkend was fun.. Sardine's b'day at town... when for SUSHI PEI where i didnt eat a lot!!! was still hungry lor unlike the SUSHI buffet last time hahaha that was good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! played pool.. which was soo fun coz teamed up with Heng Hieng but kept loosing and didnt want to give up soo we played until we won which was 6 games hahahaha. pool is pretty fun with friends!! great fun. then went to Herny's b'day party.. it wasnt what i expected but yea it was fun.. i thought it would be wild and crazy but it was quite simple and the food was good. great day out!!
