One Mth Anniversary!!~
Heyyyya!!
today is my one mth anniversary in being at BMTC!! yayayaya *claps* hahahaha i remember the first day there when my dad and bro sent me off. it was scary...but i'm settling in well... thank God. although it gets pretty emotionally tough usually on thu and fri coz all energy levels are drained and you just want a break from training. thats probly the worst thing about bmt... when you feel soo low and lacking energy. oh well. its an adventure and i keep thinking that i am in big brother and survivor at the the same time. hahahaha its a love hate relationship... love it when you are not there... hate it when you are training and at camp.....><
Basic Military Training started this wk which means the training acivities that we do are more war situational based. like we learnt and used a practice grendade...v cool new experiences. yea.. i dont know what else to say. on thuesday we had ippt test.... ran 2.4km run and then after we had our practice grendade activities and then a 6km route march.... carrying a really heavy field pack and a rifle... the field pack is really starting to hurt my back and i am starting to hunch which is a bad thing..... arrrrrr
ohhhh lol moments of the wk... not a lot that i can remember hahahaha. i'll share just one kinda embrassing lol moment... we were having our rifle drills.. like raising it up as a group and stuff.. its like marching drills but with our rifle... and of course i was a little slow and confused so this sergetant who is very ummmm unique and different... asked me "why are you so blur?" and after thinking a while i JOKINGLY replied "coz this is who is am" hahahahaha okay... it was really lol but its just funny how i replied.. okay. that was lame anyways hahahahaha nothing funny happened this wk than... i still have problems with my "huh"s and "ya"s... soo stupid!!
went to yf and church this wk... everyone at church is really nice... all the youth are really cool and also the aunties and uncle at church.. making sure i am fine!! v nice! thanks (:
yea.. today's a pretty short blog. i'm booking in tonight for another full five days of training and experiences.... i know it activities are only going to get tougher.. soo hope i can cope..... its raining and storming really heavily now... weird weather hahaha anyways yea. cya. thanks for reading!! hehehehehe
ps. happy one mth anniversary Ulysses company... 2 more mths left...

Welcome to my first offical blog site and post!! what a significant event in an individual's life...hahahaha. anyways. people who know me very well will know that i have a goldfish memory.. so i thought i would write down meaningful, noteworthy events that happened in the day whereby in the future, i may be able to look back - smile or feel sad.. acutally remembering the even that took place. but WARNING - my grammer and spelling are really terrible so if any mistakes arise.. plz ignore and continue reading.... just so you know there may be a lot of mistakes so yea... just bear with it hahahaha =)
Reflections and memories of 2007'
TwoThousandandSeven could be one of the best years of my life so far. it was just overall outstanding with so many socialising events which means loud volumes of laughter, meaning heartfelt memories and thus finally causing stronger friendships. Events like studying at the library which were more socialising times than educational learning, late night walks around cherrybrook with Mark S and gatherings at my house - after formal esp are only some of the "bonding" times shared. Guys... thank you so much for creating and sharing such undescribable memories and inside jokes. it sounds stupid but you guys have a place in my heart and i really do hope we can make more memories as we grow older and older.
its only been about two months since school ended but i already miss the carefree lunchtimes at E2.14, the lunchtime walks around school, the randomness of the group and constantly being late to every class coz of more socialising!! i also miss some classes like SS with shash and steven... (remember the chicken wings and the cow's leg experiment...and remember the videos which were soooooooooo boring!!!! ohhh and the time we wantted to wag but in the end we didnt hahaha ><) BUSINESS with lau (going high on lollies, pizza and donuts...mmkk)... maths with martin at the back corner of the classroom. eco with the guys in the small cosy classroom........ and the stressful essays of english.... (joking about the last one... i dont miss anything about english yet!!) high school wouldnt have been high school without the things listed above.
of course i also miss the friendships built at church and SWITCH... you guys have been such an encouragement to my christian faith and being such an awesome support as i went through yr 12 and leaving for Sing'land. keep being a bright light for Jesus and encourage and strengthen each other always as you grow in your faith. =) you guys are really amazing people!! thanks so much for everything!
also thanks to all the farewell and hang out hangings organised. they were always good times =) thanks for making the effort to organise... making me feel so loved and wantted hahahaha yay!!
yea. although i described 2007 in only a few words, nothing can explain the joy and happiness felt thoughout 2007.... just know that it was a really really really good year and i don't know how 2008 will be able to meet such high standards but i hope it will be able to hahahaha. ps. Nov-Dec trip to Tassiemania with the family was as memorable so yay to that too.
The Start of TwoThousandandEight
2008 went off with a memorable start all thanks to the youth of B(S)C!! After watchnight service which the message was from Ps 46, the youth took a shuttle bus to NUS and we happily and carefree just walked into the premises. the uni didnt have any security or anything like that which is really shocking!! we were broken up into groups and set of with some games/challenges and clues leading to the games. the games thaught us of the difficults we may face along the christian walk which was very well planned out and taught! after the games there was a time to reflect on the past year.. all the games, reflections and worship ended at about 5.. where we then when out together for breakfast at Macdonalds.... yea.. Macdonalds being the first meal of 2008. how healthy.. anyways it was good. after breakfast we had great fun at the huge playgroup with lots of different equipments!! v fun! =)
now let me describe the lol moment of the day hahahaha... we were taking the train back to our respective homes and coz we were all tired from the lack of sleep the night before... we were all sleeping in the train. i woke up from my nap and saw a friend leaving the train and i immediately thought the station was Serangoon coz i thought my friend was enlighting at that station. i woke my other friend next to me and said "hey dont you get off at Serangoon?" he looked so shocked and quickly ran out of the train thinking he would miss his stop.. but once he was out of the train.. friends around me told me i was wrong and it wasnt Serangoon but a few stops before hahahaha. my friend had to take the next train and hahahahaha my bad!!! sorry!! it was pretty funny at the time...hhahahahaha
Jan 2nd.
Nothing exciting really happened on this day. expect it was a really blugely and we didnt do any strenous army activities coz it was raining the whole day...lalalalalalalalalalalalallalalalalalalalla.........................ignore that.. that was just my cousin anyways back to the 2nd of Jan. yeaa no strenous army activitis expect the most enjoyable thing was doing 100 JUMPING JACKS!! yeaaa 100 jumping jacks!!!! and also 120 hopeless budda claps. budda claps for those who dont know are claps above your head and it really does get really tiring after a while. we also had to do backside chicken squat which requires your arms behind your legs and hands at the ankles and then squating.. wow it starting hurting at the 5 one already and i think we did up to 50 squats... its a good feeling after accomplising such exercises soo yea. thats why its worth blogging. 100 jumping jacks!! thats soo many hahahaha =)
Jan 3nd.
two really memorable moments happened today. firstly..."the wall is falling" incident. Tian Xiang was leading against the wall after doing some fitness exerises... the sergant saw him leading and as a punishment he had to pretend the wall was falling and had to push hard against it to stop it from falling. hahahahaha i laughed sooo hard man. really good times. me and a few others went up to help him hold up the wall and hahahahaha some one quoted "its falling on the other side" i went over to the other side still laughing so hard i couldnt stop hahahaha it ended when someone else quoted "i think the wall is okay now.. lets remove our hands and see if it is okay" hahahahahahahaha laughed soo hard soo funny!!!
2nd memorable moment - we were at the swimming pool and when a pretty high rank sergant.. who is a pretty mean and scary guy said "it is a free for all swim but only six people can be in the pool at one time" i loudly said HUH.. thinking in my head only six people!! and coz i was sitting right infront of him as he was speaking he heard me and saying HUH or YA in the army is bad sooo i got in trouble... i was soo embrassed that i kept smiling and he said which is really shocking "lucky you have a cute smile or i would slap you" hhahahahah i got out of trouble coz of my cute smile!!! i am sooo fortunate wow. i could breath more freely after that...
Jan 4th.
coz its BMT'S 40th anniversary... we were given a long wkend soo yay freedom for 3 days!!! today had lunch with section mates at Surf and Turf. we pretty much just talked about our love lives which were mostly sad... hahahaha we had BEN AND JERRY'S after which was really nice but i think too expensive..... oh well.
yep anyways. this concludes the end of my first opening post which took me me i think over 2 hrs to write hahahaha... lack of experience ma...hahaha yea. i'm starting to get addicted to blogging so i am sure i will blog more so cya soon! =)
